The Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind offers special opportunities for our community to help us provide recreational activities geared specifically toward the unique needs of our clients.

MONTHLY RECREATION NIGHTS

BINGO NIGHT
Except for the month of August, this evening of fun for friends and families alike is held every 3rd Friday of each month in our Viola Burg Auditorium. From 7 to 9:30 pm, our volunteers help serve an evening meal and provide social interaction that adds to the atmosphere of relaxation and casual conversation.

TRANSPORTATION
Although our clients have learned how to access public transportation, it is sometimes necessary to have a driver available for special activities. Our volunteers take on the driving responsibility to ensure safe travel for our clients.

ACTIVITIES
Since we are a non-profit organization, our special events offer our volunteers ample opportunities to participate as a vital part of our success!
