The Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind offers special opportunities for our community to help us provide recreational activities geared specifically toward the unique needs of our clients.

MONTHLY RECREATION NIGHTS

BINGO NIGHT
Except for the month of August, this evening of fun for friends and families alike is held every third Friday of each month in our Viola Burg Bldg Auditorium. Our volunteers help serve an evening meal and also provide social interaction that adds to the atmosphere of relaxation and casual conversation.

TRANSPORTATION
Although our clients are trained to access public transportation, it is sometimes necessary to have a driver available for special activities and on other occasions. Our volunteers take on the driving responsibility to ensure safe travel for our clients.

ACTIVITIES
Since we are a non-profit organization, our special events offer our volunteers ample opportunities to participate as a vital part of our success!
